We love a good spy movie, The Bourne Identity was a classic written by Robert Ludlum, and yes got remade with Matt Damon taking on the the lead. Well now we have Reed Morano (Director), taking Blake Lively out for a spin in a female-driven spy thriller.
The big budget film – called ‘The Rhythm Section’ – will be based off the first in a four-part series of books about a spy called Stephanie Patrick from British novelist Mark Burnell. Burnell will also be trying his hand as screenwriter.
A typical, good girl finds out her family dying in a plane crash. So she becomes an assassin/intelligence agent/person with many secret identities, and sets out for revenge, and to find her true self. Because that’s what you do, when faced with dead parents.
Lets hope, its as good as the Bourne Thrillers.
